Colors Of Love

Love seems to come in varied hues,
When seen in life’s different avenues.

A mother’s love for sure
Is unconditional and pure.

A little child’s love for life,
Brims innocence, not strife.

Love from a lover’s heart,
Sometimes marred by jealousy’s dart.

God’s love forever pristine and divine,
Eternal is his love, ceaseless and sublime.

Expect not in Love, for then love becomes a naught,
To receive love you give, never cling to it by knot.

Hearts are conquered with love, not valor,
And Love begets love, that’s its true color!

Death

I'm dead, still but cold,
At least peaceful and purified,
Without unpleasant thoughts or deeds,
Being taken for my final or deals.

Maybe, I'll be laid in a grave,
Or on top of pyre for rest,
Exhausts are the fires of agony,
In my totally inactive breast.

Now, as eternal my soul remains,
Free, carefree as the clouds,
With neither anxiety chains,
Nor the painful anguish bonds.

I'm far from Earthly wants,
For no longer, my heart yells,
For neither thou need or want,
For I'm complete as my grave fills.

Borders-Chaining humanity

I knew of no boundaries and no borders when I was born
I knew of no chains and no fences when I was born
All I was born with was two hands
Which rose in service to God?
All I was born with was Freedom to talk to Lord
I knew not of Hindu or Moslem, Sikh or Isai.

All I was born was, to a race called human,
Lord’s Best creation to be, and yet so insanely inhuman

Like me was one born far away on the land?
Which lay across the fence, some called it border and I saw it fenced

He too who was born knew no boundaries and knew no fences
His hands rose to apprise the Lord whom I serviced
Never did we see when the world laid rules to set us apart
Born to same kind, coming from the same world
Today we are yet so far apart

Then one day the distance grew
All caused by me and you
So much we flew away the currents so far
We really forgot who we are

Lost was the humanity
Lost was our race
We only followed the world’s disgrace
The fences hit hard on us
Borders engraved in our hearts

If only we had courage to move against the sharp currents
If only we could break the evil chains
Back we would have been to Free State
In which we were born to not long back

Then I see the skies so vast
Then I see birds that fly,
Then I see the winds that blow
No boundaries and no borders to set them apart
If only had I been a bird of sky born free,
Free would have I died
No borders and boundaries that I follow
My soul would be still free to grow and grow

Eyes that do see

Dreams that my eyes do see,
To dive in the depths of sea colors
So vibrant and waters so green
Wonderful fishes all blue and green
Dreams that my eyes do see
To scale the skies high and bright
Like a kite flying so high
In the arms of vast blue skies
Dreams that my eyes do see
To climb the mountains small and big
Valleys oh so beautiful and flowers aglow
Grasses so green and clouds in row
Dreams that my eyes do see
To walk on the moon I always dream
Milky white in skies at night
Leaves me feeling cold and delight
Dreams that my eyes do see
To pluck the stars twinkling afar
So tiny they look when I do see
Wonder how they really are
All my dreams may come true
My little eyes have some big ones too
Dreams to see this beautiful world at peace
I am so small but my dreams are big

Fear

For long time I was in a thought chaos trying to understand what fear means. People with different perceptions would justify the word with different circumstances they encounter.

 Tireless rain for long hours,
Water dropping of the roof like showers,
All a sudden, there was a spark,
Light turned into dark,
Gushing sound of the breeze,
Clash of windows, my heart in freeze,
Knock at the door,
Mouth opened with trembling sound,
Body wet, not of rain, Sweat on drain,
Who, who, who cried in tear,
It’s me inside you, I am FEAR……

Happy Independence Day - INDyeah!!

The midnight of August 15, 1947 is memorable for every Indian on earth, as it is the time, when India gained independence from the stranglehold of the mighty British. The otherwise suppressed tri-colored flag of India was given its due respect, when it was hoisted in the midnight on the Independence Day. Since then, the red-letter day is celebrated with pomp and gaiety, across the length and breadth of India. Cultural programs and flag-hoisting ceremonies are the predominant affair of the day, while colorful kites fill the sky in the evening, to symbolize freedom. People indulge themselves in remembering the heroes of the freedom struggle and pay homage to them.

In all the schools and colleges across India, no academic work is done on Independence Day, but all the students and staff members would be present in their respective educational institutions, to celebrate the day. A sort of social gathering is arranged in the educations institutions, wherein cultural programs are organized. Flag hoisting ceremony takes place within their respective premises. As the flag is hoisted by the head of the institution (mostly the principal), students sing national anthem and pay respect to their flag and to uphold the sovereignty of the country.

Students and teachers celebrate the day at their respective educational institutions, while others back home spend the day either by going for an outing or watching special programs on television. Majority of the people tune in to Doordarshan in the morning, to watch the live telecast of Prime Minister's speech at the Red Fort in Delhi, as it is the major highlight of the Independence Day of India. Prime Minister's speech and patriotic songs and documentaries showing excerpts from the freedom struggle are aired on the national channels, while the private television channels make it a point that their viewers are amused all through the day. Hence, they telecast cultural programs, movies related to independence, apart from the patriotic songs that regenerate the hidden patriotism in people.

Shops across India are strictly directed to keep their shutters down on Independence Day, while you can still spot the groceries and small stores opening up late in the evening. All government offices remain closed on August 15. India Gate is the center of attraction and a nice place to hang out in the evening of Independence Day, as the structure is attractively illuminated. The sky in filled with kites of various shapes and colors. As a whole, it can be said that Independence Day is a holiday much awaited by people in India, every year.

Branded Love

I feel you on my skin, touching every pore,
It feels so good, that I want some more,
I feel so in love, I feel so good,
That you can make me happy, whatever my mood.

I feel you move, scrape against my skin,
I feel so excited, like committing a sin,
I forget myself, at those times with you,
Oh! My love for you, now feels so true.

Our moment is over, now you need to get off,
I feel hesitation, as you were so soft,
I keep you in closet, for another day,
Cuz you, Reebok Apparel, just make my day.

Burning Dreams

When the eyes burn
and tears melt
i reckon its time
to move on with the life

Things change
things go wrong
mist is everywhere
but still somewhere in our heart
we are always wishing for things
to go our way
knowing that our way
is not going to happen...

Hope keeps us up and going
high hope makes us fall
fall to such depths
that we can't even see sunlight

When its dark
its scary
yet the hope doesn't die sometimes
and this undieing hope
takes us out of our bad times
once out
we forget the dark
and start from where we left
doing one mistake
after the other
till we die

And we are dieing,
we think
we are taking with us
all our wishes
all our hopes
but we r soo wrong.
we die and leave our dreams
for those who are alive
and thus this continues
the earth spins
the trees dance
the mountains smile
to see us doing meaningless things
to get meaningless things
we are so insane....

Blessings

When the path is thorny and vision blurred
Cascaded turbulence wavers through the mind
You surf me through this estranged world
Illuminating dark clouds with soft moonlight

When the grief stricken soul wails in anguish
Destinies fool around as hide and seek
You shove my fears away to vanish
Unveiling the rays of hope, melting away the misery

When the arms wide open searches for clues
The labyrinth of life directs no way around
You silently knock on the closed door
Embellishing the blue with the rainbow hues

When the pearls of wisdom lose their sheen
Reflections of life unearth uncertainties
You guide me through the thick and thin
Showering my soul with your choicest blessings

Binding Differences

One fine day, as He looked from above,
The pride of creation sunk – it was Earth sans love.

The hearts He had paired with skillful similarities,
had converted the art into ugly disparities.

“Let me teach by example”,
He had a brain wave and crafted a pair, to differences engrave.

Such was the contrast in nature and aim,
It almost seemed impossible they shared the same name.

Took twenty one long years for them to meet,
But steel struck steel in the very first greet.

One like the sea, turbulence personified,
The other like the ocean, with calm inside.

One was honest, to the extent of being crude,
The other weighed words to refrain from being rude.

One had a heart as soft as a child’s,
The other’s was pure but far from being mild.

A year passed by as we witnessed in awe,
With differences so stark, how eye to eye they saw.

Anger with patience, hard work with smart,
They balanced the differences – masters of the art.

Covering up for the other’s mistakes,
They set the example – the “Different” namesakes.

The virtue of acceptance – to let differences bind,
And treasure His pairs, was the message to our kind

Be My Honey

It all started with a beautiful voice,
A voice that soothed my inner voids,
Oh! What a gem! I thought,
In a trance I was caught…

I longed to hear that voice again,
As my voids rose up causing pain,
A strange feeling of emptiness crept in,
reason? That was what I was searching.

Then came a reply that refreshed,
All the thoughts & emotions depraved,
Of my attention, love & care,
Here they were, lying helpless and bare.

It was reason, which was eluding me,
Hiding, ducking, yet careless and free,
A phone number helped me finally,
To catch the reason in a dark alley.

The reason said I’m friendship,
I asked it, “are you mutual?”
It said “In such a relationship,
I can change and still be factual.”

The reason confused mea lot,
I agree it had given me a start,
And then, when I finally tore it apart,
I knew it had reached your heart.

What can I say about you dear?
I just wish, you could be here,
And hold me tightly in an embrace,
And wipe the tears off my face.

A graceful soul, a lovely heart,
A kind nature, a class act,
I love you for what you do and say,
And will always do so. Come what may.

You’ve become my strength now,
You’re not sure? But I know.
I’ll be happy being with you,
Live, love & learn things new.

Come let’s start a journey,
Of love, of life, of harmony,
What do you say honey?
Will you be my honey?
