My Journey

My Journey

Looking out of the window of my age old car,
The one that still moves around, marked with scars,
Life on the move has been so cloudy,
More than Half of those who knew me would agree.

Blurred memories of family and friends,
Passing by before I could make amends,
Looks on those faces so familiar,
Point to a future that could have been better.

Faintly remember the towns I crossed on my way,
Milestone after milestones, day after day,
Over the Journey did the Destination outweigh,
All this while the evening sky turned grey.

As I stand here at my road's end,
No more freeways no more bends,
Living a life all along with no regrets,
Hoping this is one of those last sunsets.

U r my only asset to whom i owe

"u r my only asset to whom i owe"

Silently, I sit by the window gazing the horizon
As for me it seems the time has frozen

Darkness is all what is pouring in
The only sound I can hear is my heart beating

My eyes feeling sleepy and heavy with pain
I could see on my cloth-the nasty red stain

I know there is nothing more for me to gain
Still I am continuing my desperate prayers-all in vain

A sudden nightmare has shattered my identity
Which counted on me an irreversible casualty

A drunken driver, and for saving a child
He left me amidst the world howling wild

Together we had embarked on a treasured love
With our innate pious feelings well gelled up

He always would say
"A life full of hardships, I was leading
And from nowhere as an angel you walked in"

He was there to hold my hands always
To make me the happiest with his crazy ways

When I feared that I would be left lonely
My dearest one would embrace cozily

Kicking my feelings of life's agony
But now I sit by the window gazing the horizon
As my life slowly engulfing the deadly poison

One day he had whispered to me low
"You are my only asset to whom I owe"

Now dear, it’s my turn to show
That I can fight all the shackling woes

Now, I can feel my pain getting numb
Reaching for you dear, just hold my arm

The frozen time has again started flowing
As I sit by the window with my eyes closing

A Journey Called Life

A Journey Called Life

Life is an intractable journey,
Its vagaries perplex and flummox many.
Long, arduous and insurmountable it may seem,
Chances of conquering the odds may be extreme

But an intrepid, diligent, tenacious person can tackle.
Through his hardwork, veracity,and probity,
And can reach the pinnacle

Because afterall, everything in life depends on attitude,
So, towards God express your gratitude,
By taking pride, in going through this bumpy ride

U r the World

You are the world

You are the world, I don’t lie!
The world says, ‘coz it’s you… and why?

Sun daunts to shed his arduous glare on you

And moon taking a chance to match you….

As she found this rare beauty only in few

Even rain thinks in millions before it showers

Like the turbulence of the wind mitigates, that usually hovers

Nature is jostled into a dilemma....

Judging as to who is the most charming phenomena

The gushing river’s silence insinuates its respect

To an extent, that rustlin’ leafs stop their noisy puppet

The busy arcade is turned grave

When you swift through your way, with a winsome wave

Gloomy days rejoice at your very sight….

         And the darkest nights ignite

Old and the trodden are animated to joy

As mere pains are given up, turning out to be shy

Beauty has been more conscious you bein’ around

Tension obviously resentful, ‘coz he is unable to hound

And patience at its spirit, with its intimate found

Time is tuned out of pace

Trying to make every moment a happy phase

The entire mood is inclined to you

Do I need to interpret more? No! I’m true....

The whole world is sure to go numb

Forced to think nothing but to remain dumb!

A second chance

A second chance
As I went walking through a forest,

I saw a waterfall, enchanting and wild.

Oh I loved that flowing water,

Oh I wanted to dive deep inside.

I was hoping to unfold a mystery,

To see the world from other side,

Scary though it seemed at first,

But I had made up my mind for the ride.

I closed my eyes, said a silent prayer,

Lifted my feet from the ground into air.

As I fell down with the water,

I could feel the wind play with my hair.

I went to the land of seas,

Those mermaids, the fishes, the pearls white,

I then wished to stay there forever,

I kept admiring this world all night.

I got up the next day, on the sea bed,

Oh I longed for air, I lost my breath in the sea,

I wanted to shout for help,

But there was none to hear me.

Suddenly a hand came down from above,

Took my hand in his hands and took me along,

He brought me back to my world which I left,

But that was the place where I belong!

I was not walking through the forest,-I was walking through life,

I had grief in my heart, n I began to wonder…

Will I get something better if I take the plunge?

Oh I wish to that thought I did not surrender.

I jumped down,

and for one day the world seemed fine,

But the world I had entered,

Didn’t just seem to be mine.

I didn’t lose my breath in the sea-

I missed the one I love,

Then I prayed he’ll come back for me,

To take me back above.

So just when things go wrong once,

Don’t jump into that alluring waterfall,

It might seem beautiful at first,

But its not worth you even with its pearls n all.

If life has blessed you with a heart that loves you,

Don’t lose it because of a simple mistake.

Instead, nurture it with understanding and trust,

So just give another chance for love’s sake.

So go back now, and make up with them,

give them just another chance to show,

love is not about all good moments,

it can also sometimes face the times low.

“If I am ever not the man who I am now-

Its only you who can bring me back” once said he….

Today I just want one chance for us,

You once said I am your angel,

And today I promise I will be

A DROP OF TEAR

Drop of Tear

A Drop of Tear A Drop Of Tear Rolls Down My Eyes

I Really Don't Know What It Means

My Heart Cries Out In Joy and In Sorrow

Pain and Happiness Are Both with Me

I Feel a Stranger Around Me

As I Close My World within Me

My Heart Is Afraid To Let In the Stranger

But It So Much Wants Him to Stay

A Word to Be Spoken Is Stuck In My Throat

I Feel My Voice Leaving Me Alone

I Don’t Know If My Heart Is My Friend Or Foe

It Doesn’t Even Let My Mind Let Go

I'm Not Sure of Its Intensions

I Can’t Trust It Any More

I Look At The Stranger With Love And Hope And............

A Drop of Tear Rolls down My Eyes

I Really Don't Know What It Means.

A Drop of Tear Rolls down My Cheeks

I No Longer Understand My Own Heart

The Shoulder That I Cried Upon

No Longer Seems To Wipe My Tears

The One That Was So Close To My Heart

Seems To Have Lost In the Crowd

The Caressing Eyes Are Stoned Now

The Strong Arms Don’t Hold Me Tight

The Person That Stands Before Me

Is Not the One I Knew?

The Hand Now Holds Me

Is Not the One That Guided Me?

How Can I Love and Hate the Person At The Same Time

How Can I Judge His Heart over His Actions

My Mind Says I'm wrong

But My Heart Believes Him

My Legs Walk With Him

While My Mind Races Ahead

I Rest My Head on His Chest

To Find Some Comfort In His Arms And..........

A Drop of Tear Rolls down My Cheeks

I No Longer Understand My Own Heart.
