Again Some Day

Again Some Day
As a tear ran down my cheek...
I caught it with a smile...
I wiped it away for a little while

Thoughts of her, raced through my mind
So little time, so little was the smile
As my tear turned to sorrow
I could feel my heart pounding

I opened my eyes, only wishing for her
As my eyes gazed into the sunset
I knew in my heart...
I would shed that tear

Again some day.....

At Times

At Times

I have seen the much darker years
in my life that shone bold on me
have seen the rivers flowing by
in the wrong side it seems
but all it takes for me to stand up to you now
is your trust that keeps my love alive

At times when you talk to me
without the words that I can hear
at times you took me all wrong
all I needed you, was to stand with me strong
and make me believe, I love you for what you are
more than the riches I can own in this life without you

Somehow you got to be more inside
than any other heart I have seen
or any other world I would have been
all my words now seem to be strong enough
and make me believe, that I will love you
the rest of my life, how much it shall be

everything is on its way to somewhere
and at times I miss my way alone
my love has become a time now
and I cant make it turn back again
as true as it seems and as true as it means
the more I love you as days pass by
the more I come to know the happiness,
if you would be mine

You are more beautiful than music
your face is a poem and like a fairy flies,
you make the flowers bloom in my life
your happiness is my dream now,
and it comes true everytime you smile

Cloud!

Cloud

White, puffy, soft and cold
My thoughts wander high up above
Hiding the light behind their back
Casting the shadow on the world below
Shedding a tear for the ones here
They fly high in the sky above

Dreams sweet of an elegant nature
Hopes high for that pot of gold
Ripe harvests for seasons to come
Are those clouds high up above

A father’s love, a mother’s care
Thoughts many beyond my philosophy
Are all what they are, the clouds
Floating in the sky, high up above

Yielding lightning, the bravest sword
And thunder, the mighty shield
A knight, so magnificently attired
Guards humanity and us, the mortals

White soft gown, grazing the sky
Slow steps of a sweet shy bride
A cloud, she moved to her eternal groom
Who kissed her a promise, a whole life new

A little cherub on a cloud weaves a tune
Alas! Unheard by our ears deafened
By the hues and cries of our pros and cons
Sadly we miss that tune of life

That cloud looked at the world below
Where it dwelt a lifetime ago
“Oh! Earth “, it cried, from above
“How strange thy art, far below”

A knock

A Knock

She is knocking hard at your door, with her hands open, she wants you to hold,
But you are so lost lingering in your past, and, with your memories old..

She knows you are in pain, and she is here to soothe you,
She wants to ease your burden and touch your heart by her words few..

She knows you have lost trust on love, since someone broke your heart before,
You understand her feelings but that trust you cannot restore..

She knows she cannot be there, but, still she is trying to be on your mind,
She does everything to make you happy, oh, she is so kind!

You like her company, you give her a morning hug,
But inside you, you are still carrying that painful grudge..

She is knocking harder at your door, for she wants to remove all your fear,
She wants to spread smiles in your life, though deeper somewhere, even she carries a sad tear..

Give her this opportunity, let her come in, and illuminate your mind,
For such beautiful people, in this small life, you can hardly find.

She is waiting for you to open, her patience giving answer to her wait,
Come; hold her hands, before it’s too long, before it’s too late…

War and Peace

War and Peace

War and Peace Seeds of hatred,
Seeds of terror Grown in the minds of horror
Eagles and vultures dive in the skies
Blood and Bodies I can see all around

Lost my son, lost my husband,
My  father lying in the pool of red,
Daughters and wives being disgraced all around,
No one to listen, not one to hold my hand,

My cries go far and in vain.
So someone cries beyond the borders
I can hear he too lost his father.
There across the fence I can see,
A mother for her son is weeping.

What more mayhem do I see?
No different is this war scene.
I know not who wins who loses,
I can only see pains and bruises.

Wounds and scars never to be filled,
Only shattering memories of bloodshed to live with,
This is all that War can give,
Then why don’t I pray for Peace?

Here I raise my hands OH Lord!
Because war is not the way of world
After all these apocalyptic scene
My soul yearns to live in Peace.

My Journey

My Journey

Looking out of the window of my age old car,
The one that still moves around, marked with scars,
Life on the move has been so cloudy,
More than Half of those who knew me would agree.

Blurred memories of family and friends,
Passing by before I could make amends,
Looks on those faces so familiar,
Point to a future that could have been better.

Faintly remember the towns I crossed on my way,
Milestone after milestones, day after day,
Over the Journey did the Destination outweigh,
All this while the evening sky turned grey.

As I stand here at my road's end,
No more freeways no more bends,
Living a life all along with no regrets,
Hoping this is one of those last sunsets.
