An Optimistic Man

Who created earth; it’s still a mystery....?

Man often tries to quest, but fails in misery....

Man continues his endeavors

to reveal earth's secrets

He is now left with only regrets.

Even though he possess powerful gadgets

He rules the life on the earth

But unaware of his own planet's birth

It’s all gods’ play some say

Some do some don’t pray

He believes someday he will reach for the stars

Rule the galaxy and capture the planets

His belief begins to die

Whenever he watches the endless sky

Will You?

Will you remember me, as the years go by...?

Will you collect the memories of our faint goodbyes??
Will you be fond of me when the tears stop streaming …
Will you keep in touch, when the days stop dreaming…?
Will you consider me a friend...? When our corners meet??
Or like strangers we will greet??
For when the shadows of love faint and die
My heart will still try, to keep a piece of you inside.
Like a shard of glass, you will reside.
Pricking me to remember, the slate you dirtied and left incomplete with the footprints of your unsure feet.

A Second Chance

As I went walking through a forest,

I saw a waterfall, enchanting and wild.

Oh I loved that flowing water,

Oh I wanted to dive deep inside.

I was hoping to unfold a mystery,

To see the world from other side,

Scary though it seemed at first,

But I had made up my mind for the ride.

I closed my eyes, said a silent prayer,

Lifted my feet from the ground into air.

As I fell down with the water,

I could feel the wind play with my hair.

I went to the land of seas,

Those mermaids, the fishes, the pearls white,

I then wished to stay there forever,

I kept admiring this world all night.

I got up the next day, on the sea bed,

Oh I longed for air, I lost my breath in the sea,

I wanted to shout for help,

But there was none to hear me.

Suddenly a hand came down from above,

Took my hand in his hands and took me along,

He brought me back to my world which I left,

But that was the place where I belong!

I was not walking through the forest,-I was walking through life,

I had grief in my heart, n I began to wonder…

Will I get something better if I take the plunge?

Oh I wish to that thought I did not surrender.

I jumped down,

and for one day the world seemed fine,

But the world I had entered,

Didn’t just seem to be mine.

I didn’t lose my breath in the sea-

I missed the one I love,

Then I prayed he’ll come back for me,

to take me back above.

So just when things go wrong once,

Don’t jump into that alluring waterfall,

It might seem beautiful at first,

But it’s not worth you even with its pearls n all.

If life has blessed you with a heart that loves you,

Don’t lose it because of a simple mistake.

Instead, nurture it with understanding and trust,

So just give another chance for love’s sake.

So go back now, and make up with them,

give them just another chance to show,

love is not about all good moments,

it can also sometimes face the times low.

“If I am ever not the man who I am now-

Its only you who can bring me back” once said he….

Today I just want one chance for us,

You once said I am your angel,

And today I promise I will be…

A greivous heart, a troubled mind

A grievous heart, a troubled mind,

To the depths of loneliness I seem destined.

Until the day an angel walked by,

And through the darkness, a divine light.

The world seems now a better place,

In the harshness of life, towards better days.

A beauty such, I have never seen,

A dream come true - my wildest dream.

From the heavens she has descended,

Her destiny is surely decided.

Will I be the one whom she chooses?

He will cry forever, he who loses.

I do not know her name or who she is,

But God's masterpiece she surely is.

How do I approach her, what do I say?

Oh! I love you so, please stay.

I have never known the love of a woman,

But now I know how it is to be in love.

Heartbreak would seem like the curse of a demon,

I need divine intervention from above.

I must not lose her, for she is precious,

Winning her would make so many jealous.

But how do I do it, the question is?

From that day on I have found no peace.

What a strange feeling, a paradox of sorts,

No peace of mind, but love in my heart.

A sweet pain you love, but it hurts,

I must express my love, where do I start?

As she walks through the streets,

Her fragrance fills the air

 With the loveliest of smiles she greets,

And all I could do is staring.

To woo my lady love I must strive,

To beat the competition I must contrive.

Oh my lord gives me the strength,

For this will be a battle of great length.

For the hand of the angel, for the love of her heart,

At the earliest, I must start.

For if I lose her and she departs,

A troubled mind, a grievous heart.
