War and Peace Seeds of hatred,
Seeds of terror Grown in the minds of horror
Eagles and vultures dive in the skies
Blood and Bodies I can see all around
Lost my son, lost my husband,
My father lying in the pool of red,
Daughters and wives being disgraced all around,
No one to listen, not one to hold my hand,
My cries go far and in vain.
So someone cries beyond the borders
I can hear he too lost his father.
There across the fence I can see,
A mother for her son is weeping.
What more mayhem do I see?
No different is this war scene.
I know not who wins who loses,
I can only see pains and bruises.
Wounds and scars never to be filled,
Only shattering memories of bloodshed to live with,
This is all that War can give,
Then why don’t I pray for Peace?
Here I raise my hands OH Lord!
Because war is not the way of world
After all these apocalyptic scene
My soul yearns to live in Peace.
