Time to introspect…...

Happiness is like a breath of fresh air that touches me for a moment and fades away…...

Leaving behind memories to cling on,

Feeling loneliness and rejection.

The sweet sensation that had enthralled me gradually fading away,

To seclusion, I see my life drifting away.

A life without any charm or substance…...

Am not liking this place anymore,

I’m going to get out of here for sure.

Still searching for a better tomorrow…...

Many more miles to walk,

Many more valleys to cross,

The road I know is unending and long…...

Carrying with me the burden of my memories and sorrows,

Feeling insanely lost and forlorn.

Am tired and need to rest,

Don’t know when I’m going to find my nest…...

Feelings are very difficult to be defined

Feelings are very difficult to be defined,
But when about you, they can hardly be confined,
Looking at this day when you were born,
God must have thought to send an angel, in human form.

While creating you, his best artist, must have had a hard time,
They have created a beauty that even the moon cannot outshine,
Imagining thousands of flowers lying on a white snow bed,
Among those flowers, you look like the only Rose that's red.

Your face is so pretty, so innocent, I have ever seen,
He must have thought and thought, about creating his own dream,
Your lovely smile resembles waves that reach the shore....
Every wave so beautiful, that it can't be just ignored....

Each second with you are, like a lifetime for me,
One life with you is, every dream comes true,
You are the only one here, beautiful as dove....
They say its lust for you, but I say its love....

Just watching you I lose myself,
Thinking about you I lose this world....
Even the beauty of universe seems to be jaded....
When you smile, every time beauty, seems to be added....

I know I could never tell you how it feels to be me....
And neither could ever tell you, you have my heart's key...
I was, I am, I would be your lover forever,
But I just know my words would reach you never......

Moving towards a green future

I want to run away,

Away from this world

Where air is not fresh any more

Where water is not clean any more

Where Roads are full of honking vehicles

Where life is not peaceful any more

Then I turn back and think

Let me give another try

I can’t run away like this

Leaving Mother Earth to cry

She has suffered a lot

She might tolerate little more

Why do we still want to

Trouble her to the core?

Lets help her get back to life

Let’s work to reduce her pain

Lets aim to make this world

Better for everyone’s gain

Lets plant more trees

Let’s cut down on the waste

Lets recycle used stuff

Let’s do that without haste

Lets spread the happiness

Lets reduce the sorrows

Lets join hands together

Let’s create a greener tomorrow.

Me In This Heat

Every summer morning it is the same case,

I wake up because; the sun shine falls right on my face.

I try hard to sleep again,

But all my effort goes in vain.

Finally, I get up to start the day’s race,

I take a dip in cool water to find solace.

And just when I start enjoying the chill,

The warm air comes for the kill.

It gets almost impossible to walk on the street,

As I feel like fainting in this scorching heat.

Sitting at the bus stop is as of being cooked on a grill,

Trust me, I am serious and not building a mountain out of a molehill.

It feels so much better when the climate is cool and the surrounding is greener,

Ironically the same Sun that soothes me in winter, tends to burn in summer.

Oh, how wonderful it gets in the rain,

When the cool breeze blows and washes away all your strain.

I sit here and visualize that refreshing feel,

Like a magic worked and filled me with a rejuvenated zeal.

How I wish these thoughts come true to their meaning,

And little do I realize that it is nothing but day-dreaming.

In welcoming 2010 - may it be enriching, peaceful and with God's abundant blessings. 

Recipe for a Happy New Year

Take twelve fine, full-grown months; see that these are thoroughly free from old memories of bitterness, rancor and hate, cleanse them completely from every clinging spite; pick off all specks of pettiness and littleness; in short, see that these months are freed from all the past—have them fresh and clean as when they first came from the great storehouse of Time. 

Cut these months into thirty or thirty-one equal parts. Do not attempt to make up the whole batch at one time (so many persons spoil the entire lot this way) but prepare one day at a time. Into each day put equal parts of faith, patience, courage, work (some people omit this ingredient and so spoil the flavor of the rest), hope, fidelity, liberality, kindness, rest (leaving this out is like leaving the oil out of the salad dressing— don’t do it), prayer, meditation, and one well-selected resolution. Put in about one teaspoonful of good spirits, a dash of fun, a pinch of folly, a sprinkling of play, and a heaping cupful of good humor.

May God make your year a happy one! 

Not by shielding you from all sorrows and pain, But by strengthening you to bear it, as it comes; 

Not by making your path easy, But by making you sturdy to travel any path; 

Not by taking hardships from you, But by taking fear from your heart; 

Not by granting you unbroken sunshine, But by keeping your face bright, even in the shadows; 

Not by making your life always pleasant, But by showing you when people and their causes need you most, and by making you anxious to be there to help. 

God’s love, peace, hope and joy to you for the year ahead. 

May we progress well in this school of Life !

Love Vs Like

In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster

But, in front of the person you like, you get happy.

If you look into the eyes of the one you love, you blush.

But if you look into the eyes of the one you like, you smile.

In front of the person you love, you can't say everything on your mind.

But in front of the person you like, you can.

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy.

But in front of the person you like, you can show your own self.

You can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love.

But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them.

But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.

The feeling of love starts from the eye

But the feeling of like starts from the ear.

So if you stop liking a person you used to like, all you need to do is cover your ears.

But if you try to close your eyes, love turns into a drop of tear and remains in your heart forever
