Death

I'm dead, still but cold,
At least peaceful and purified,
Without unpleasant thoughts or deeds,
Being taken for my final or deals.

Maybe, I'll be laid in a grave,
Or on top of pyre for rest,
Exhausts are the fires of agony,
In my totally inactive breast.

Now, as eternal my soul remains,
Free, carefree as the clouds,
With neither anxiety chains,
Nor the painful anguish bonds.

I'm far from Earthly wants,
For no longer, my heart yells,
For neither thou need or want,
For I'm complete as my grave fills.

Cloud!

Cloud

White, puffy, soft and cold
My thoughts wander high up above
Hiding the light behind their back
Casting the shadow on the world below
Shedding a tear for the ones here
They fly high in the sky above

Dreams sweet of an elegant nature
Hopes high for that pot of gold
Ripe harvests for seasons to come
Are those clouds high up above

A father’s love, a mother’s care
Thoughts many beyond my philosophy
Are all what they are, the clouds
Floating in the sky, high up above

Yielding lightning, the bravest sword
And thunder, the mighty shield
A knight, so magnificently attired
Guards humanity and us, the mortals

White soft gown, grazing the sky
Slow steps of a sweet shy bride
A cloud, she moved to her eternal groom
Who kissed her a promise, a whole life new

A little cherub on a cloud weaves a tune
Alas! Unheard by our ears deafened
By the hues and cries of our pros and cons
Sadly we miss that tune of life

That cloud looked at the world below
Where it dwelt a lifetime ago
“Oh! Earth “, it cried, from above
“How strange thy art, far below”

My Journey

My Journey

Looking out of the window of my age old car,
The one that still moves around, marked with scars,
Life on the move has been so cloudy,
More than Half of those who knew me would agree.

Blurred memories of family and friends,
Passing by before I could make amends,
Looks on those faces so familiar,
Point to a future that could have been better.

Faintly remember the towns I crossed on my way,
Milestone after milestones, day after day,
Over the Journey did the Destination outweigh,
All this while the evening sky turned grey.

As I stand here at my road's end,
No more freeways no more bends,
Living a life all along with no regrets,
Hoping this is one of those last sunsets.
